Part of the deal that bought the now infamous Nick Ainsley to the team, Marco had an amazing gift of being able to give people the impression he actually knew what he was doing.

 

Marco's real gift was the ability to play football on a cold, wet, rainy Sunday morning and be able to come off the pitch in a kit that was cleaner than when he started. Even more impressive is the fact the kit was white.

 

Marco was often heard to be explaining he was "waiting for the return pass", before sitting himself back down in his deckchair.
